Forty-seven years ago, in the Chartrons district — where the history of the great wine merchants still echoes — three men laid the foundations of what would become DIVA Bordeaux.
Their intuition told them that great wines should not remain confined within the boundaries of their appellations… They carry within them a culture, that of European complexity, a way of life.
From the very beginning, DIVA’s founders had to earn their legitimacy. Most were not from Bordeaux, coming from backgrounds where one is not born among the barrels. That difference, far from being a handicap, became our signature: that of a house that takes nothing for granted and cultivates excellence as others cultivate their vines.

This global presence did not happen by chance. It has been patiently woven, market by market, relationship by relationship, since 1979.
